Ingeborg Häberle was born on 13.01.1950 in Bad Vöslau, Lower Austria.
Grown up in Vienna she began to paint in 1965.
She is mother of two grown up daughters and one grown up son.
Ingeborg Häberle is a self-taught artist. She only took part in some workshops (technic of the old masters, figure drawing and portrait drawing and naïve painting.)
From 1986 till 1993 she painted naïve cat pictures.
1995 she began to work in the public service of Vienna City and had therefore not so much time for painting. As she was 2010 retired she started to paint again.
Living and working in Baden near Vienna her pictures are inspired of the many vineyards that surround her studio. She loves to paint still life with wine bottles and grapes. Also flowers of her garden or souvenirs from her journeys (shellfish, stones, pictures of architecture …) are worth to be painted.
Mostly she is painting with watercolor, a technic she used from the beginning of painting in 1965. At that time she began to paint photorealistic. Her models were calendar pictures.
Since 2014 she also works with acrylics.
